Come on. Is this cool or what? Not only can you record all your favorite programs without paying for any type of subscription fee, play back a DVD upscaled to 1080i and archive your CDs so you can set up a party mix for when friends stop by but you can also surf the net without having to get up from your easy chair.
2 Parts Fusion has built a fantastic DMS unit that combines the ease of use of Windows Media Center 2005 with high quality parts. There is no skimping here from the choice of case to the motherboard and its components. All software is included on CD instead of being loaded on to your HD so backup copies are readily available.
They have also gone out of their way to make sure that all your questions are answered before and after the sale with online help via the web and through email. They will have a presence here on HTF to provide answers to questions that you may have. High quality products and customer service will be their priorities.
If you are like me and would love to have your own HTPC, but really don't want to take the time out to build your own, 2 Parts Fusion has done all the work for you. They are building non proprietary systems that are easily upgraded. As many of you are aware when you purchase a pre-packaged PC you are pretty much stuck with the hardware they give you and upgrades are difficult to say the lease. 2 Parts Fusion builds their DMS units one unit at a time. Nothing is prepackaged. A typical unit takes about 10 days to build and get shipped out.
If you would like to record your favorite TV shows, play back your DVDs at high resolution, archive your CDs and surf the net all from one machine then a DMS is what you want. I cannot recommend any higher that you get it from 2 Parts Fusion. They are the real deal. They are just like the rest of us. They want high quality products that they would want to have in their own systems.
