Ernest Borgnine
The highlight of our afternoon was meeting film and television legend, Ernest Borgnine.
He is best known for his Academy Award winning performance in the 1954 film Marty. Television audiences will best remember Mr. Borgnine from McHale’s Navy. Since then Ernest has appeared in dozens of popular films including The Dirty Dozen and The Poseidon Adventure. The time he spent with our group was filled with cheerful rememberances and humorous stories.
We were very proud to have a visit from comedian Katt Williams. He’s appeared in sitcoms, hosted his own HBO special, The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1, and will release a comedy/rap album featuring Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Cam’ron this summer. He was recently seen in the film Norbit playing Retired Pimp No. 2, “Lord Have Mercy,”
who helps chubby-chaser Eddie Murphy ditch his obese wife.
