EVENTS
When planning our National HTF meets we looked to line up events outside of studio visits that would further educate and ehance the Home Theater enthusiasts in attendance. We are highly grateful to those companies listed below who readily made their facilities and tour available to our members.
There’s a piece of history here long gone, and perhaps never to be repeated again. Every year, Dave’s Video sponsors a STUDIO DAY where studio representatives and hardware manufacturers converged in a single location to meet and chat directly with the very consumers who purchase their product. STUDIO DAY was the brainchild of David and Linda Lukas who held this event annually at their store until its closing nearly 7 years ago.

DTS DIGITAL SOUND
DTS is a digital technology company dedicated to delivering the ultimate entertainment experience. We have been very fortunate to have been invited guests to their Agoura Hills facility on many occasions.

David Tolsky poses a question to DTS staff. The auditorium theater was still in the process of being built at the time of these photos though you can see that rear speakers were already in place.

WIDESCREEN REVIEW
Gary Reber is an interesting individual. He seemed to come out of nowhere during our first visit to Dave’s STUDIO DAY in 1999. He handed us a business card, said a few words of introduction, than disappeared. For every year since then and 200e he has been kind enough to have our group of enthusiats visit his facility in Temecula.

After a morning at Widescreen review we drove to Wilson Creek vineyard for a wine-tasting party hosted by Gary Reber and his wife. Here, prizes are drawn by Epstein and Reber.

In the very early years of DVD, there was a very popular on-line store called DVD EXPRESS. One year the company invited us out to their warehouse where we browsed amongst rows and rows of DVD titles.
